Payment
Payments are accepted by bank transfer (SEPA countries only) or through payment platforms PayPal and Stripe. PayPal and especially Stripe provide many different payment methods,
including (but not limited to) iDEAL, Apple Pay and credit cards.
When taking online lessons, it is required to make a payment in advance. If a payment is made by bank transfer but not yet received before the start of a lesson, proof of payment may be requested.
When transferring money by bank, Ronald does not accept provision fee or any additional fee charged by the bank. To our knowledge money transfers between SEPA countries (in the EU) are free of charge. Contact your bank for more information if needed.
All prices are including tax.
Refund policy
In general, if a payment has been made in advance, but the lesson(s), for which it was intended, hasn't taken place yet, a refund may be requested. But please note the following terms:
First 3 Lessons
If you have paid for the First 3 Lessons and request a refund after completing at least one lesson, the price you paid will be divided by 3.
For instance, if you request a refund after completing one lesson, you may receive 2/3 of the original price you paid.
5-Lesson Bundle
If you have purchased the 5-Lesson Bundle and decide to request a refund after completing at least one lesson, then each completed lesson will be treated as an individual Single Lesson.
This means that if one or more lessons out of the 5 have already been completed, those lessons will be converted to the regular price of a Single Lesson.
The total amount, based on the current price of Single Lessons at the time of purchase, will then be deducted from the price you paid for the 5-Lesson Bundle.
Refunds are not available for downloadable content.
Rescheduling, Cancellation & No-show
In case an appointment needs to be rescheduled or cancelled, please inform Ronald at least 24 hours prior to the lesson.
During a No-Show (student is not showing up), Ronald will wait around 10 minutes and will send a reminder via email or otherwise. When a student fails to show up, despite receiving a reminder or not, a No-Show-Cancellation Fee will be charged, which is equal to a one lesson fee.
Connection & Audio
If there's a bad internet connection during lessons or the audio quality is poor, it is expected and desired that both Ronald and the student will try to fix it in the best way possible.
If it turns out that the internet connection or the audio quality cannot be improved, and neither student nor Ronald can hear each other well enough, then the lesson will have to be rescheduled.
After which investigation will be advised to find out the cause of the problem, to prevent this from happening again in future lessons.
It is highly recommended to set up the electronic device properly before the lesson.
Governing law
These Terms of Service (and any further rules, polices, or guidelines incorporated by reference) shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of The Netherlands,
without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
Changes to these Terms of Service
These Terms of Service may get updated from time to time. All changes will be posted on this page. If significant changes are made, all active students will be notified via email or otherwise.
Visitors and students are advised to review these Terms of Service periodically for any changes.
